Arakan Martial Art® takes your training to the next level with high-intensity, no-nonsense self-defence training that prepares you for any real-life situation. We train in urban environments where you don’t have the comfort of mats, rings, or dojos, simulating the unpredictability of real-world scenarios. In a club, the music and lights may drown out your senses; at night, road rage situations might find you in cramped or poorly lit areas; or out in public, there could be obstacles like stairs or railings that force you to think and move differently. Arakan ensures you’re ready to handle these challenges with confidence and skill, no matter where you are.


From surviving a nightclub attack to dominating a road rage incident and defending your home from a violent intruder, our Arakan self-defence experiences give you the skills and instincts to fight, survive, and come out on top. This isn’t just theory - it’s raw, practical training for the street.


Some of our training events include:

 

  • Nightclub Defence: You’ll learn how to stay sharp in high-pressure, chaotic environments - defend against surprise attacks, control your space, and stay ahead of the threat in a crowded, unpredictable situation.
  • Road Rage & Train Rage Survival: Master how to handle hostile confrontations on the road or in public spaces. Whether it’s an aggressive driver or a hostile train encounter, you’ll learn how to stay cool under pressure and neutralise the threat fast.
  • Home Invasion Tactics: You’ll learn how to secure your home, protect yourself and your family from armed intruders. This is about thinking fast, using your environment, and fighting back when every second counts.
  • Weapons Defence: Fight back against armed attackers. Learn techniques to defend against knives, bats and other weapons with speed and precision.
